Usually I am slower and less spontaneous with my posts, but I just felt like I had to get this out there.

Together with Gallup, National Geographic rated San Luis Obispo the 5th happiest city in the United States. Last year it actually had first place. Now I know why I like it here so much.

She has walked over 4,400 miles. From their website:

  2. Gus and I met in 1986 as we were walking from Los Angeles to Washington DC on the Great Peace March. He was 19, I was 59. He has continued his commitment to bettering the world and when I read this blog, I clicked on share, and am happy to hear that readers are enjoying what he has to say.
